What Is Waklert 50?

Waklert 50 is a medication that contains Armodafinil as its active ingredient. It is primarily used to improve wakefulness and reduce excessive sleepiness in patients with conditions such as narcolepsy, sleep apnea, shift work sleep disorder, and anxiety.

Uses

• Narcolepsy (Uncontrollable daytime sleepiness)
• Obstructive Sleep Apnea/Hypopnea Syndrome (OSAHS)
• Shift work sleep disorder

Side Effects 

• Headache
• Insomnia (difficulty in sleeping)

How To Use Waklert 50

• Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor
• Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it
• It may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time

Precautions

• Inform your doctor if you have any problems with your kidneys, heart, or liver, or have a history of seizures (epilepsy or fits)
• Inform your doctor if you develop any unusual changes in mood or behavior, new or worsening depression, or if you have any suicidal thoughts.
